Black Seed Oil
What is black seed oil?
Black seed oil is a rich, peppery oil pressed from Nigella sativa (black cumin) seeds. Choose the plain oil by the spoon, or capsules and gummies if you'd rather skip its strong taste.

Is Black Seed Oil right for you?
Common questions
Is black seed oil allowed in Australian supplements?
Yes. Nigella sativa is item 3493 on Australia's permitted ingredients list (Schedule 1), allowed in listed medicines with no special requirements, no warning statement and no dose cap. That means it can be used in a listed medicine sold in Australia. There's no permitted health claim recorded for it, which is why you won't see one on this page. It's also sold here as a food oil.
What's the difference between the oil, the capsules and the seeds?
The oil is pressed from the seed and sold in bottles, usually 50 ml to 300 ml, and you take it by the spoon. Capsules hold the same oil in a shell, so you don't taste it. Gummies are a chewable option if neither suits you. Whole black seeds are the spice, sold as a food and used in cooking rather than measured out as a dose.
