description

This is Moogoo original Eczema and Psoriasis Balm which has helped a lot of adults and babies with skin concerns. In fact without any advertising it has become one of our most popular products. Remember though that one cream won't fix every skin problem.

It is specifically designed for the symptomatic relief of the following:

  • Eczema and Dermatitis.
  • Infant Eczema.
  • Mild Psoriasis.
  • Seborrheic Dermatitis.

This balm can be followed by the MSM Soothing Cream moisturiser which is designed to keep easily irritated skin moist and supple.

Benefits
Active Ingredient
  • 20mg/g Aloe Vera inner leaf juice fresh: Most people already know the benefits of Aloe Vera. We loved it before we made skin care, and we love it in our creams.
  • Eqv 5mg/g dry Marinara chamomilla flower liquid extract: Matricaria chamomilla extract contains active Flavonoid and Essential Oil compounds, which are particularly advantageous in the care of sensitive skin.
  • Eqv 5mg/g dry Centella asiatica herb tincture: Traditionally used for skin conditions. Google is your friend here when it comes to all of its topical benefits.
  • 500 microgram/g Sage Oil Dalmatian: Like a lot of essential oils, some practitioners do not recommended using pure Sage Oil in Aromatherapy when pregnant. For our eczema balm, we use a small amount and it is applied to the skin rather than inhaled or digested in tea. However, when pregnant we suggest doing your own research as peace of mind is the most important thing.
Excipient ingredient
  • Water – purified: We could say ‘Aqua”.
  • Almond Oil: A very moistursing natural oil with a high fatty acid content.
  • Cetostearyl Alcohol (also called Cetearyl Alcohol): Creams are made from a mix of purified water and oils so as to be more moisturising than oil alone. To hold water and oils together, they need an emulsifying wax. We use a plant based wax that allows the water and oils to stay together.
  • Polysorbate 60: Polysorbate is widely used to ensure that the oil and the water do no seperate.
  • Olive Oil: Wonderfully healthy for the skin. So many benefits, it might be best to Google "Olive Oil Skin" instead.
  • Squalane: One of our favourite moisturising oils. It helps leave your skin moisturised and dewy.
  • Piroctine Olamine: Piroctone Olamine is an anti-yeast ingredient to help keep the cream free from bacteria and mould.
  • Allantoin: Allantoin is a skin conditioner.
  • D-alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E): We use the more expensive, natural Vitamin E in our creams, not synthetic. Natural Vitamin E has up to twice the bioavailability of synthetic forms.
  • Citric Acid: Citric Acid is a weak fruit acid used as a fruit based pH Balancer
  • Xanthan Gum: Xanthan Gum is a glucose based ingredient derived from Corn. It us used to keep our creams stable.
  • Humulus Lupulus (Hop) Extract: We worked for over a year to develop a preservation system based on Hops Flower Extract. All our creams have now been checked for preservative efficacy using the British Pharmacopeia test. We are very proud that we are probably one of the first companies to develop this natural preservative system into our creams.
