Metagenics Ultra Flora Baby Care is a practitioner-only medicine. It is intended to be used on the advice of a qualified healthcare practitioner, who will decide whether it is appropriate for your child and at what dose.
Metagenics Ultra Flora Baby Care is an unflavoured oral powder for infants and children, combining four documented probiotic strains: Lactobacillus rhamnosus LGG, Bifidobacterium animalis ssp lactis BB-12, Bifidobacterium longum BB536 and Bifidobacterium breve M-16V. Three of the four are bifidobacteria, which dominate the infant gut. It comes as the 50 g tub, which is roughly 35 daily doses of 1.4 g.

Suggested Use
Infants from birth and children to 12 years: take half a metric teaspoon (1.4 g) once daily, or half a metric teaspoon (1.4 g) twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Mix into cool or warm food or liquid; do not add to hot food or drinks.
Allergens
The powder is free from animal products, dairy protein, lactose, eggs, gluten, wheat, nuts and soy protein. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Warnings
For infants and children to 12 years under the direction of a healthcare practitioner. Do not add to hot food or liquids, as heat reduces the viable count. Seek professional advice before giving a probiotic to an infant who is immunocompromised, seriously unwell or has an indwelling medical device.
