Metagenics Male Essentials Multivitamin and Mineral is a once-daily practitioner multivitamin for men. Each tablet carries the full B group, vitamins C, D3, E and K1, betacarotene, a standardised milk thistle seed extract and a broad mineral panel including 20 mg of elemental zinc. It comes as two bottle sizes, 60 tablets and 120 tablets.

The per-tablet panel is the same for both bottle sizes. Excipients: acacia, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, calcium hydrogen phosphate, citric acid, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, dl-alpha-tocopherol, glycerol, hypromellose, liquid glucose, magnesium stearate, maize starch, maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides, microcrystalline cellulose, potable water, silicon dioxide, sodium ascorbate, soya oil, starch sodium octenyl succinate and sucrose.

Allergens

It is free from dairy protein, lactose, eggs, gluten, wheat, nuts and soy protein, and free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. Soya oil is listed among the excipients, so it is not free from soy-derived ingredients. It is not declared free from animal products, so it should not be assumed suitable for vegans or vegetarians. Always review label for full list of ingredients.

Suggested Use

Adults: take 1 tablet daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Warnings

This product contains selenium, which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms of selenium for adults from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Not to be taken by children under 2 years old. Stop taking this product if you experience tingling, burning or numbness and see your healthcare practitioner as soon as possible, as it contains vitamin B6.

Storage

Store below 30 degrees Celsius.
