Metagenics is a practitioner-only range. This product is supplied for use under the supervision of a qualified healthcare practitioner, who will confirm whether it suits your circumstances and how it should be taken.
Metagenics Liquid Iodine is a vanilla-flavoured oral liquid supplying iodine as potassium iodide, presented in a 44 mL bottle with a dropper. A dose is three drops, which is 0.11 mL, added to water once daily. Iodine is required for the normal production of thyroid hormones, and Liquid Iodine is a practitioner-directed drop form for adults and breastfeeding women whose dietary iodine intake may be inadequate.

Suggested Use
Shake well before use. Adults: use the dropper to gently squeeze 3 drops (0.11 mL) into water once daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Warnings
Contains ethanol. The ARTG entry for this product carries the warning statements that vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet, that if symptoms persist you should consult your healthcare practitioner, and, where directed to women, that you should advise your doctor of any medicine you take during pregnancy, particularly in your first trimester.
