Metagenics CalmX Tropical Oral Powder is a tropical-flavoured magnesium drink powder from the Metagenics practitioner range. It combines magnesium bisglycinate with taurine, glutamine, potassium citrate, calcium, vitamin C, a spread of B-group vitamins and zinc bisglycinate in a powder that is mixed with water. Metagenics has since renamed this formula MetaRelax, and the pack artwork now carries that name. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle and nervous system function, and CalmX is a practitioner-directed magnesium powder for people going through times of stress.

• Magnesium bisglycinate (magnesium glycinate dihydrate), stated on the label with its equivalent elemental magnesium.
• Taurine.
• Glutamine.
• Potassium citrate, stated with its equivalent elemental potassium.
• Calcium ascorbate dihydrate, stated with its equivalent ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
• Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1).
• Riboflavin sodium phosphate, stated with its equivalent riboflavin (vitamin B2).
• Nicotinamide (vitamin B3).
• Calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5).
• Pyridoxal 5-phosphate monohydrate (vitamin B6).
• Zinc amino acid chelate (Meta Zn zinc bisglycinate), stated with its equivalent elemental zinc.

Per-dose quantities are not declared here because two label generations of this powder are in circulation with different dose sizes and different potassium and calcium contents, and we could not confirm which applies to the 238 g and 476 g tubs. Confirm the quantities from the product label. Excipients named on current label copy include citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, glycine, hypromellose, silicon dioxide, flavour and steviol glycosides.
