Description
Honest to Goodness Organic Cocoa Powder is a Dutch-processed, unsweetened powder made from organic cocoa beans. Dutch processing treats the cocoa with an alkali, which softens the acidity and deepens the colour, so the result is a smoother, rounder chocolate flavour than natural cocoa gives. It is unsweetened, so the sugar level is yours to set. It comes as the 350 g and 750 g packs. Use it in brownies, cakes and biscuits and whisk it into hot milk; because Dutch processing takes the acidity out, follow the raising agent your recipe asks for rather than swapping in bicarb.
