Inner Health Advanced

Inner Health Advanced is the Ethical Nutrients probiotic built for antibiotic courses. It pairs a bacterial strain, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, with a probiotic yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii) SB, which is not affected by antibacterial medicines in the way bacterial strains are. One capsule carries 17.5 billion CFU of live probiotics. It is sponsored in Australia by Metagenics (Aust) Pty Ltd and listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. It comes as the 40 capsule bottle. This is a refrigerated line: it needs to be kept cold from the fridge to your fridge.

Ingredients

Total live probiotics 17.5 billion CFU per capsule. Excipients recorded for it include disodium edetate, gellan gum, hypromellose (capsule shell), magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, potable water, potassium acetate, silicon dioxide, sodium ascorbate, sorbitan monostearate and sucrose.

Suggested Use

Adults and children over 12 years: take 1 capsule twice daily, or as recommended by your pharmacist or healthcare professional. Start on the first day of antibiotic use and separate each dose from the antibiotic by 2 hours. Continue twice daily for the duration of the antibiotic course and for a minimum of 2 weeks afterwards. Take with or without food. The capsule can be pulled apart and the powder added to food or liquid if preferred.

Warnings

If symptoms or diarrhoea persist for more than 48 hours, consult your healthcare professional. Not intended for children under 12 years. Do not use if the cap or bottle seal is missing or broken. People who are severely immunocompromised, critically ill, or have a central venous catheter should not take a Saccharomyces boulardii product without medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.

Allergens

Free from gluten, wheat, dairy, lactose, eggs and nuts, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Contains a probiotic yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii), so it is not suitable for anyone avoiding yeast. The capsule shell is hypromellose and the excipients contain no animal-derived ingredients, although no vegetarian or vegan claim is made. Always review label for full list of ingredients.

Storage

Keep refrigerated. Store at 2 to 8 degrees C and do not freeze. This is a cold-chain probiotic: refrigerate it as soon as it arrives and return it to the fridge straight after each dose, because live probiotic counts fall at room temperature.
