Description
Nature's Sunshine Pure Pau D'Arco Tea is the dried inner stem bark of Handroanthus heptaphyllus, the violet flowered South American tree also known as taheebo and lapacho, supplied loose as bark fibre in a 200 g jar. It is the inner layer of the bark rather than the outer bark that carries the traditional use, and the bark here is sustainably sourced from Brazil. Pau d'arco bark has a long tradition of use as a hot bark infusion in South and Central American herbal medicine, and this is the loose bark for brewing that drink at home, a cup at a time, in place of capsules.

Suggested Use
Adults: add 5 g, one level tablespoon, to 1 cup (250 mL) of boiling water and remove from the heat. Steep for 20 minutes and strain. Take one cup three times daily, or as professionally prescribed.
