The Reishi mushroom is a red woody fungus that tends to grow predominantly on hardwoods. The mushroom has been used for many millennia in Asian cultures to treat various diseases. In Asia the Reishi mushroom is regarded as a symbol of health, longevity, success and divine power and is commonly referred to as "The mushroom of immortality"*.
