A pleasant tasting powdered fibre to supplement your dietary intake, promoting bowel health and aiding in the management of cholesterol. It contains a blend of rice bran, oatmeal, linseed meal, psyllium husks and slippery elm powder, flavoured with carob.
Including enough fibre in your diet is essential for the proper functioning of your digestive system and to maintain bowel regularity. A high fibre diet also reduces the risk of many serious health problems, including cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
Dietary fibre is only present in plant foods, so it’s important to include plenty of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds and whole grains in your diet in order to get adequate amounts of fibre. It is important that some of this fibre is in the soluble form (found in foods such as oats, linseed meal and psyllium), which is known to help lower cholesterol levels.
