The main role of a Nutritionist is to help you reach optimal health by using food and nutrients to heal. A holistic Nutritionist looks to identify and address the underlying cause of a health condition by providing dietary and lifestyle advice, as well as using therapeutic foods and nutritional supplementation. Nutritionists also work to assist with a number of health conditions including mood disorders, stress, anxiety, improving sleep quality, hormone conditions, pregnancy and weight loss. Nutritionists have completed tertiary qualifications in Nutrition or Health Science, and integrate traditional philosophies with modern scientific evidence to develop a tailored nutrition and lifestyle plan.
