Crunchy Kale Chips

These crunchy kale chips are quick and easy to make and much healthier than potato chips!
Course Vegetarian

  • 1 bunch of Kale washed and dried
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • Parmesan Cheese Optional

  • Preheat oven to 180C degrees.
  • Wash the kale then gently pat it dry. Tear the leaves off the large central stem and then into pieces if very large, discard the stem.
  • In a large bowl drizzle the olive oil onto the kale, using your hands, massage the oil into the leaves.
  • Sprinkle the kale with cumin and paprika
  • Alternatively a sprinkling of ground Parmesan is yummy too
  • Cover a baking try with baking paper and lay out the leaves onto it.
  • Sprinkle with Himilayan salt then bake for about 15 minutes, turning the leave half way through.
  • Leaves should be crisp and curled at the edges.

Kale chips are just the thing for a lunchtime snack, or instead of popcorn while watching a movie (better make two batches though!)
