Blooms Super Kelp is a valuable source of iodine which helps to regulate the body’s metabolism. It also provides temporary relief from arthritic pain and helps reduce fluid retention.
Iodine deficiency is common in Australians so Blooms have developed Super Kelp which is high in iodine as well as a rich source of a wide range of minerals, vitamins and trace elements including Vitamin B, iodine, iron, zinc, potassium, magnesium and calcium.

Vitamin and mineral rich, particularly in iodine, which is known to regulate metabolism. Kelp is a sea plant which is extremely rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly the B vitamins and iodine which is known to regulate metabolism through its role supporting thyroid gland function. Provides important minerals for nourishing and supporting the thyroid. Kelp has a reputation for helping with the temporary relief of the pain of arthritis, as well as for the relief of fluid retention. It exerts a strong alkalising influence on the body.
Adults - Take 1 tablet daily.

Each tablet contains:
Fucus vesiculous (Kelp) extract
equivalent to dry whole plant 600 mg
Ascophyllum nodosum (Yellow wrack)
powdered dry plant 150 mg
Total iodine content from all sources less than 300 mcg
No added gluten, yeast, milk derivatives, salt, lactose, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Older people with nodular goitres are at risk of developing hyperthyroidism from use of iodine containing products.
Iodine may exacerbate symptoms in some with autoimmune thyroiditis.
Children with cystic fibrosis appear to have an exaggerated susceptibility to the goitrogenic effect of high doses of iodine.
